I've redesigned the joiners. There are now three separate joiners, 'I', 'T', and 'L' shaped.

I've eliminated the four sided joiner all together. This is more consistent with the Chinese aesthetic where four shelves never meet at a point.

the holes left are a distraction. I suggest you explore ways of easily blocking the holes off in a cost efficient and attractive way
Hey , that looks really cool. Agree with roger on the holes at the front. But the shelves etc are really interesting to look at and would look great with items on them!
